The Lackawanna Bar Association Sponsors Seminar on Human Trafficking at The University of Scranton

The Lackawanna Bar Association is sponsoring a Human Trafficking Seminar for students and the general public to examine and discuss the issues surrounding the global crime of human trafficking. The seminar, which will be held Saturday, April 8, from 1 to 4 p.m., in the Moskovitz Theater of the DeNaples Center, was organized with The University of Scranton’s Center for Service and Social Justice and its Catholic Relief Services Student Ambassadors Club. Guest speakers at the seminar will discuss the core issues regarding human trafficking, offer ways to recognize the signs and symptoms of human trafficking, understand legal and social efforts to combat this crime, and identify the resources and services available to survivors and victims.
